This piece was created some years ago for a special Black History Month event. Its intent was to help us all remember the importance of Black History Month. It is to remind us that Black history is a part of all history, our history as a whole! Focusing on the struggles of the woman's experience. Without awareness of the past, we may not appreciate or be thankful for the present or be hopeful of the future.

Sad to say that in 2020 some still have to be reminded... that Black Lives Matter.
